Week 10: Negative Space, 2021

“ Zoned Out ”

I tend to use negative space quite a lot in my portraiture compositions, which are usually outdoors. So this time to wanted to have more of a studio feel to the image and concentrate on having a sharp focus. My husband had this orange jumper which added a lovely pop of colour.

I love how the white background contrasts with the bright orange of his outfit!! I alright really like your use of negative space to highlight your subject. Very cool!!
