“ Rule of Thirds as the sun sets on the beach…. ”

The “Rule of Thirds” is one of the most basic tenets of composition in art and photography.

In this beach sunset photo, the water line is on the lower horizontal thirds line, and the lifeguard stand and bird are on the right vertical thirds line. The bird is also at the intersection ...
