“ Tiny cactus ”
I tried a variety of household ornaments viewed from below on a mantlepiece.
I liked the luminous nature of the plant against an austere faded background.
Took some fiddling to get the slate pot it was in to align but I think it's an interesting mixture of texture and drama!

    I like the use of thirds in this too, with the pot, the plant and the ...wall. Had to read your blurb to know it was actually a real plant.
