“ Spring ”

I took many detail photos this weekend. Some big details, some small.
I finally settled on this image. If you know what these are you know what the trees look like, you know the smell and you know the hate.
If you don't these are black poplar tree stickies.
But when they arrive ...

This fulfills the challenge of details. For those of us who are not familiar with the black poplar tree, though, the details in this image don't tell the full story. A different composition, possibly one that emphasizes the nature of the stickies, would have made a more effective photograph.
