“ Hoop Dreams ”

The bore water coloured basketball hoop works well with the nice blue sky so couldn't help but capture this. A wee bird came along and helped so that was nice.

Love negative space so enjoyed the challenge though a lot more ideas in my head than I shot in the end.

Awesome Connor - I love this image. I too love the simplicity of negative space and its simplicity. This image is simple but also fascinating on so many levels - rich colours, contrasting textures, the evidence of a breeze, the bird, the unusual but effective composition. Your image really captured my attention this week. Well done! (Would have worked equally well for the next challenge too :-) )
