We were away camping this weekend, and found that a state junior surfing competition was taking place. This young surfer (or grom/grommet) was waiting patiently for a wave just after the main heats had finished. I didn’t have a very long lens, so I could only get a distant shot, but hoped the ...

Nice shot Cheryl. You did well to get the ocean so flat, the waves were huge last weekend at Mainbreak! You would have seen some great surfing by the local groms!
