these are coins that were minted for use in India when it was part of the British Empire and Victoria was on the throne. The earliest date that shows is 1897 on the crown, one of the bigger coins., but that was towards the end of her reign as the image shows. You can see the smaller coins on ...

Great focus and use of B&W. I'm not sure what the background is, but it gives me the impression of an old fashioned, lined coin purse. Great POV and crop.
