Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez surprised us at a Sunrise Movement action in front of the White House, urging Biden to invest in the future and create a climate civilian corps. AOC is a powerful speaker and when she took the mic, the crowd of hundreds listened intently.

Very nice use of depth of field with both the foreground and the background nicely blurred. At first I wasn't thrilled with the blown out whites on the forehead and nose, but the more I looked at the image, I appreciated how they bring the eye into her face. The mic also acts as a nice leading line into the eyes.

The only thing about the image I'm not thrilled about is how the white cap merges into the white forehead. It creates a kind of strange dynamic where the two meet that just feels a bit weird to me.

Nice piece of street photography.
