“ Sunflower head. ”

It's the end of the season and the sunflower heads are now bursting with seeds. Some I will save to plant next year, the rest will be a tasty snack for our visiting pigeons.

I love how this fills the frame! The depth of focus creates a roundness to the sunflower that is very appealing. I don't care for the lower left corner of the background. The details of the dried brown petals are striking! Love the one that catches the light and the ones that are translucent in the upper right corner. Nicely seen.
