I enjoy doing long exposure shots as I love how water looks when it's still or slowed down. Blue hour is my favorite light to shoot in because you always come away with stunning, vibrant colors. This week's challenge gave me an opportunity to do both long exposure and blue hour.

I like the fact that the sky and the water are almost the same colour. That makes the photo harmonious.

It looks like someone took perfect paper cutouts of the buildings and carefully placed them in front of a watercolor backdrop. The soft blue to purple gradient runs… more

It looks like someone took perfect paper cutouts of the buildings and carefully placed them in front of a watercolor backdrop. The soft blue to purple gradient runs through the entire photo. So beautiful!
