“ Milford Weir ”
Another last minute effort. Enthusiasm waning. I fancied doing a seashore or pier with a 10 stop filter - I've got the filter, but the nearest seashore is 2 hours drive away and we're still in lockdown so here's our local mill weir at 20 seconds. It was good practice re calculating exposure ...

Alan: There's a few things going on here that are just great: 1) Water move at two significantly different speeds captured in slow shutter speed; 2) the image is (intentionally?) broken into horizontal thirds as far the foreground, the sweeping curve of the rushing water, and the treeline; 3) and the reflection of the latter on the former. I would have liked to have seen the stone structure lightened slightly to feature more detail in the metalwork...but water under the bridge. (Wait, that's not right...) I love sweeping curve in your image. It leads you through the entire image, very well done Alan.

Neat shot Alan. The water really came out smooth in here. I also like the lowish angle to used. It emphasizes the rim of the weir nicely.
