    Alan: What a interesting transition (from natural to a little less so IMHO) you captured moving inwards from the shadow of the living tree; to the manufactured iteration of a tree; to its appearance of a design element in an otherwise unremarkable surface. Of course, this may not have been your intent--but it works well and if there where such a thing, I'd say it has the qualities of a triptych...but with one panel placed on *top* of the next! Nice submission.
