“ Night traffic ”

The new thing I tried was taking a long exposure of car lights. I don't even have a proper tripod - I used the top of a wall. The fun part was experimenting with different exposures. I especially liked the red dotted light in this one, from a bicycle.

Very nice capture of the lights, and the dashed light from the bike is cool. I wonder if the dashes are from he light being periodically blocked during your exposure… more

Very nice capture of the lights, and the dashed light from the bike is cool. I wonder if the dashes are from he light being periodically blocked during your exposure, or if it was a flashing light. I’ve taken similar photos from the Longfellow bridge and am always thankful that that streetlight in the center is always out, and they never seem to fix it. If i were on, it would detract from photos like these.
