This photo was taken in my communal garden where a neighbour has a parrot that she takes out for some fresh air occasionally
i hid behind a tree to get a depth of field feeling and called to the parrot so that i could get his eye in focus

    That’s such an interesting shot Louise, I love the different textures which the monochrome really emphasises, the tree, her coat and the parrots feathers. Plus, as you say, her positioning is perfect against the tree and the fact she is ‘nose to beak’ with her parrot. You certainly see beyond the norm .... ???
