It's ironical how easy we are able to take photos of our loved ones without any hesitation.
But when it comes to our own photo, it always don't look right.

Shot myself in my kitchen when I noticed a nice shaft of evening light coming in.

I think it's an amazing shot -- wonderful expression, moody lighting, great composition. I know we're always hardest on ourselves, but I think this is great.

I think this is a good dramatic shot. It looks like something a bit scary might be coming from your right side. The low key and stark lighting works great to add to that feeling of tension. I think it is a well-done portrait. But I know how you feel; I am often not happy with my submission either.
