I wanted to depict a fallen king surrounded by the victors. I shone a light directly onto the king and made sure there was a leading line to him.

    I like the story of the fallen king, and creating a focal point on him. Did you try the shot without, the black piece in the centre foreground? I wonder if that would have made the fallen king more prominent, but maybe not. I do like the spotlight on the King. Fantastic job.
