Didn't expect to see any chicks at this time of year, but a pair of Egyptian Geese have recently hatched a gaggle of chicks! Perfect subjects for this week!

Well, that IS a surprise - a gosling in fall! And such a cutie. Wonderful detail in the face and chest feathers, and that little high step is a bonus.
