“ Beauty in dying ”

I brought this piece of black velvet back from Germany that my mom gave me and I bought this tulips at Aldi that were a little past their prime.

When the petals started falling I thought the black velvet made a beautiful backdrop for the flowers with the afternoon light shining on ...
