A walk in the chilly north Texas weather brought me to this female robin just nestled in and cozy. News reports that there are an unusual number of these gorgeous birdies in the area, like 2 million!, due to lack of berries in the south west US.

    What a great, sharp image of this beautiful bird with its orange and grey plumage. This is a good work-around for a day when the sun is less than cooperative.
