“ ...Those beady little eyes. ”

Brood X is emerging in full force this week with ~100/hour poking their heads out of the soil, crawling up onto a tall object, shedding their exoskeleton, before flying up into the trees.

Those red eyes are so creepy, but they are fun to photograph! You got nice contrast with the flower and the greenery as a backdrop!
