“ Self Portrait ”

There was a lot of running backwards and forwards with a dinosaur dog toy on a second tripod to try and get the focus and settings right!

No flash on this, however I did use a softbox light facing away from me to provide some light (I thought that the light from the ceiling might be too harsh).

I like the softer tones for a black and white shot... you can see the details. I often get to contrasty with my black and whites. Did you consider bumping up… more

Did you consider bumping up to ISO 200 and then slowing your shutter speed? Your portrait might have been a touch sharper if you had. I like the evenness of your lighting though. Well done.

Nice work and I like the lighting. The only thing I would say is the wrinkles in the background are a bit distracting. I like the black and white too.
