“ Watching and waiting ”

Barn Owl sat on a branch, having just jumped down from it's roost. It's taking its time to get the lay of the hunting field, soaking up a little late afternoon sunshine, before heading off into the evening and night.

What a wonderful capture. The owl stands out against the brown and background. I might have cropped off the bottom (grasses?) which would bring more focus on the owl… more
