“ once upon a time ”
Once upon a time, this valley used to be an ocean floor surrounded by some of the worlds largest super volcanoes in prehistoric times! Now it lays still - bearing hardly any life compared to what it used to! Location: San Luis Valley, Colorado!

Fabulous view, the horizontal snow line seems to lift the mountains to the glorious sky. I might like it even better with more of the foreground cropped off.

This is such a impactful horizon - it seems almost like a thick black sharpie has made a bold mark across the center of the frame marking the snow line and providing both contrast and separation to the overall image. The distant upper part could be a monochromatic illustration in blue pencil, or a blue print. I love how you coaxed these two startlingly different yet connected landscapes out of one single frame.
