Brrr...this makes me feel cold ?! Like others have mentioned, getting lower would have tied the dogs and swimmers together, At the moment I'm not sure where I should be looking... But great subject for the challenge

Oh wow, Ann! Before I read UK I was guessing this was a scene from Australia! You have great focus and light on the swimmers. You might have been able to use a slower shutter speed to increase your depth of field to get the same focus on the dogs. They are such a fun addition to the scene. Great idea to visit this location!

Nice implementation of this week's theme, Ann.  I wish the focus on the swimmers were clearer, as I believe they are the real subject.  Perhaps a more narrow depth of field with the focus on them would have helped that.  I think a little less sand in the foreground, too, would help shift more focus to the figures in the water.

Brrr!  Not a fan of cold water swimming!! It’s an interesting photo subject though. I think the swimmers are a bit too far up in the picture though. Possibly lowering the camera for the shot closer to the ground and reframe with the swimmers and the dogs more in line would better tell the story.  The bright blue is a bit distracting from the main subjects. A really fun find!
