    This is nice messy with a hint of a questioning story behind it - the why's and wherefores including what to become? I am intrigued by the gradually unfocusing on the right part of the "line". I might have cropped it just a tad to bring the line up higher in the image. It's okay to be lazy as this worked out well.

    I like the focus on the charcoal.

    The fading out of focus on the line to the right leaves me wondering if the white surface is not actually flat or why the focus becomes softer that direction.

    "Lazy" version seems to work just fine! :)
