“ Grandmother ”
Her violets grew contentedly
in the little kitchen window,
fed by gentle northern light.

Delicate buds of loyalty and devotion
appear overnight, as if by magic,
where once there were none.

Soft to the touch, yet resilient
they still remind me of her,
my Grandmother.

Such beautiful storytelling, Caroline, to accompany a beautiful photo. The details here are amazing.
