“ shape with light ”

this is one of those "I got my weeks mixed up" weeks. I had a shot for next weeks water challenge. So, in a panic I grabbed this bud off the yuca plant and put some extra light on it's side. I was playing around with the amount of light etc, when the batteries died. So, this is my very sad ...

I can see a band of light lighting up the stalk and bud, so meets the challenge. In my mind though, this tells a great story as it looks like it is lying on ice… more

I can see a band of light lighting up the stalk and bud, so meets the challenge. In my mind though, this tells a great story as it looks like it is lying on ice, and the brain tries to figure out how the bud can grow and survive in the coldness of winter. Very nice choice of DOF too.
