Three little candles, and a lot of brainstorming...Another attempt at something outside my normal boxes, going for a minimalist abstract look. I like the patterns but not sure I like the composition. I wonder if I had just rotated the pattern so the triangle was pointing more toward the top ...

    Great work at abstracting the subject matter, Joe. It draws me in as I try to work out what I am looking at.

    I prefer this composition : the alternative feels like it is falling off the page and this placement with the triangle at a slight angle is more dynamic.

    Well done on pushing yourself out of your comfort zone!
