“ The Path ”

This is my first attempt at any kind of dark photography, let alone night photography! I have a thing for photos of paths in the woods, the mood they evoke and the mystery in the photo of where they may lead. So, I thought i'd try to capture the same feeling in the city at night. Not sure ...

Welcome, Debbie! I skipped this challenge after I first joined because I thought it was too, well...challenging :-). Congratulations for jumping into the deep end and capturing both a serene and slightly spooky shot. I like the way you composed the image--the path leads my eye through the frame.

I love the star shaped shadow of the lamppost.

The photo needs a main subject to focus on. Maybe someone walking away from the viewer or even a bench or something.

Good job with your first night photo.
