“ Hello from Finland ”
The time of the year when everyone is pretty sure that the ice will hold but still wait for someone else to try first. Happened upon this chap walking on the ice and stopping to watch the last rays of sun for the day.

I love your composition.  The man on the ice adds so much to the scene and that yellow sky is fantastic!

What a lucky catch - the lone walker on the ice! It all makes for a very winter sombre scene. The tracks leading to him pull the eye along. I know this wasn't a staged photo - but it would have been wonderful if the person had a red hat or scarf - just something to focus the eye! but we can't expect everything of random people we meet. It also may be difficult to see the colour in a silhouette. Well done.

Beautiful photo. It looks a bit (ok, very) cold!
