A local astronomy association has a permanent installation of a scale model of the solar system situated at an old crater from a giant meteorite. The sun is on a post on the centre of the crater and the planets are placed along a road in small glass cubes attached to poles marking the distance ...

Nice idea. I saw a solar installation in Switzerland on a hiking trail. The photo lacks pizazz. Perhaps taken at a different time if day might help.
