“ Taz ”
I was a bit uninspired this week, but my friend's dog made for a good subject. Simply cropped it to fit the Rule of Thirds theme and added a flat, black and white preset. Voila!

I was in a race against the clock to get it submitted. What I was going to add was: there were a few shots ...

What a wonderful subject! The b&w is a great choice. Too bad you are having trouble with the images posting darker.

Hi Brandie - the image works for the theme - I note your comments to choosing not to select the image with the catchlights and glad you called that out as it was my immediate thought when I saw the image and would have been my feedback but as photography and art is personal and this is what you wanted to achieve then you selected the right image for this week - and I hear you in the darkness thing - I keep recalibrating my monitor but things still seem dark - I assume you’ve seen the chat re how to export and which colour mode to select on the message boards and are already doing that?!

Such a sweet shot. I love the mood of this shot. It fits the theme of this week very well.

Such an engaging model and I think you captured their spirit and alertness. I wonder about dodging around their eyes- or bringing up shadows a bit overall. I do that a lot with the fotos of my black dog. Overall though, the contrast on Taz’ fur with the gleams of light (& maybe bits of white fur?) and the silky darkness everywhere else makes me want to reach through the foto to pet them! Good doggo. And good photogo.
