“ Crepe Myrtle ”

Our neighbor's crepe myrtle reaches over the high wood fence and turns the path behind our shed into a bower. The sun dapples through in places, but the shed and the branches roofing over to it block most of the light. Here, some of the shine comes from recent rain. I've dimmed the background ...

I like both of your versions, but I think I prefer the alternative as the rain drops reflect the light so prettily.
