For many this is a festive time of year. This year is a dark time in my life. I think this image reflects that.

Oh yes, this image has a dark and somber feel, but you absolutely nailed the theme, and it’s technically excellent. I like how the background isn’t completely black - there are just enough details visible in the light to add depth. The year is almost over, and I hope the times ahead will be brighter for you.
