I'm going to miss these dinners. There have been a lot of good conversations and a lot of good food with people that I love the most.
We have a junior in college and these two about to leave for college. It’s been a doozy of a year.

    I love the photo, the story, and your daughter's face in the bowl!?
    Whether it's underlit or not... Not so sure. How do you guys like to light your intimate eating space? (I ask that naively, because teenagers might think it's a stupid question...) To me, it looks very pleasant--rather chill. Now that you are going to be empty nesters in the Fall, maybe you prefer romantic, candle-lit dinners? Or maybe you can't afford electric bills because of tuition?!?
