“ More peonies ”

I took this photo using a cellophane wrap in front of my lens. I like that it looks like the peonies are in front of a window. I used a speed light and tried to get the light to reflect off of the wrapper. I’m going to try and do a few portraits like this.

The misty "glow" is really beautiful. I like that although there are abstract elements to the image, it is still an obvious flower beneath it all. I especially… more

The misty "glow" is really beautiful. I like that although there are abstract elements to the image, it is still an obvious flower beneath it all. I especially like the upper left corner shapes happening.

My eye keeps getting drawn down the stem darkness. I wonder if it had a tighter crop if that wouldn't happen.
