Pretty damn good for first! To help for selfies next time, even if it's dark, get something like a styrofoam head on a light stand, put it where you want to stand (put something on the ground where you want to stand for when you move it) shine a light on it and focus, then turn off your auto focus on your camera and lens (this is called locking in your focus) then you go stand where you focused and take the shot.  It should be in focus.  It is a hit or miss process, but doing it this way creates more hits.   Wonderful job Tami!

The light is good. I think that Margaret is right regarding the focus.
