“ Succulent Chair after the Rain ”

I made this chair this summer and love the color of it so I knew I wanted to use it for this week’s photo. I am in the northwest and we were socked in with smoke for 5 days and then it finally rained. Glorious, refreshing rain.

Beautiful color story, Janet. Wow! That is a lot of pattern going on which the blue chair frame almost stands up to. To me selectively desaturating the umbrella roses… more

Beautiful color story, Janet. Wow! That is a lot of pattern going on which the blue chair frame almost stands up to. To me selectively desaturating the umbrella roses would let the chair shine as the focal point or using a solid color umbrella. I like the way the handle extends toward the viewer. Cloning out the leaves in the top L corner would simplify a bit too. How wonderful that you all got some rain to wash away the smoke! Love the chair you created!
