    Very dark mood you've set up.  Try not to let it bring you down.  Too heavy a burden for any one person to bear.  Nice use of slow shutter combined with low ISO.  Sharp focus on a self-portrait can always make things tricky.  Nice job.

    I certainly agree with your sentiment. It is hard to be positive about anything these days.

    The photo would be more powerful if you had cropped from the lower right corner, so the screens were easier to see. Plus, positioning yourself so the left screen didn’t have that black pole going across it would help the composition.

    All the black does contribute to the sad, hopeless feeling, though.
