I used an old chess set and set up a still life with a white backboard. Off camera flash was used to give the backlighting.

    A striking silhouette Barbara.  The flash has added just enough light to give a little detail to the King and the vignette draws my eye straight to him.

    Perfect silhouette, but I like how just a tiny bit of light creeps around the centre piece to define its shape more.  You are a master with lighting shots like this.
