I love this road in Dorset, Blandford Road, also known as Kingston Lacy Beech Avenue. The avenue is 2.5 miles long and was planted in 1835 by William John Banks, the inheritor of Kingston Lacy, a beautiful house nearby. The avenue was a gift to his mother and he planted 365 trees on one side ...

    I thought it was a bit early for lavender! Great perspective with thr symmetry of the trees either side, the one car gives some extra interest. Its a really strong image!
