“ A Little Bit of Rembrandt ”
I enjoy the dramatic effect of chiaroscuro lighting, so for this self portrait I used very strong directional lighting to cast most of my face in shadow, and carefully angled my face in order to achieve Rembrandt lighting as well.

Wonderful job on getting the Rembrandt lighting just right! That is such a hard thing for me to do when doing selfies, I always get frustrated! If you try this again, maybe bring up the camera just a bit, this way you're not looking down on it/the viewer (not unless that was your intention).  Happy framing!

perfect light triangle, a la rembrandt.  i think your camera is a bit too low, around eye level would be better. nice black and white processing..
