    I couldn't resist commenting on this one so late after the event. I'm pleased the parades are back. I was in Cashel one year for my Paddy's Day birthday, and proudly travel (not lately) on my Irish EU passport, courtesy of an Irish grand daddy ( a Cashel man). The parade was great fun and very local as you say. Your desaturation was a good idea. This makes me yearn to return.

    Gerry, nice shot.  Desaturating the background was a great idea.  It really makes St. Patrick standout, as he should.
