    I love the detailed fractal branching against the soft, simple colors of the background. Thank you for introducing me to that lovely Irish ballad. The imagery of soldiers carrying barley in their pockets which later sprouted and marked where they had once been is haunting. The fact that the seed head pictured here is empty is a beautiful match to your poetic theme.

    I like how arty this looks with the current colour palette and composition style that you have chosen. That mauve-violet bit at the top left has added really well to the frame. I like how delicate the filament-like blades look. It feels spring-like in its look and feel.
