“ Prairie skies ”

I often pass this old barn and tree and I’ve wanted to photograph it for a long time. It’s a fairly typical western prairie scene but I love the contrast of the rows of recently harvested crops against the wide open smooth sky.

Love this photo! I love the textures, the rows from the field and the barn and tree silhouetted. Certainly gives the feeling of the endless sky.

Such a nice contrast between earth and sky. Having the barn and tree off to the left emphasizes the negative space.

This is a terrific photograph and so nicely conceived and thought out before being rendered so well in high contrast. Definitely minimalist, and very cool! Bravo!
