“ Groot ”
Spent this week with friends in Florida and their little Yorkie is just barely a year old. Named after Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, he had a big dog attitude for such a little guy. Got down to his level, virtually "ground level" and shot wide open with Canon RF 50mm F1.2.

Wonderful use of f1.2. Groot’s face and ears are very sharp and the focus drops off quickly. I love the variation in the bokeh- Almost in focus near his feet, changing to bokeh with soft gray balls of light, and then fading to a lovely creamy background. Nice job!

Great portrait Mark. Groot stands  out so well from background. Very  sharp. I like that you got down to his level, just like with kids.
