I rarely use the oven, so of course I was tempted to buy some bread or cakes for saving myself from that part of the challenge. However, our cottage garden is full of apples, so I decided to bring home some of them for a Baked-scene. I found a recipe and went ahead.

    I was suddenly in a hurry and had to leave the house, before I was sure that my best photo was taken. The shooting was done next to the kitchen window in daylight, but when returned home, it was dark. Just mentioning this, in case you noticed the different lighting conditions.

    I couldn't use my tripod in this setup, so I gathered books etc for lifting the camera into a proper position.

    Oh my gosh, I almost did the same!  I don't think my baked apple photo would have been nearly as nice as yours; so much attention to detail and special touches.  This is absolutely beautiful, and I really wish I could have eaten one of those apples!
