“ L.R.S. ”
in my family we call these squirrels "L.R.S." because they are "little red squirrels". I was at the marsh this morning and saw this little guy perched on a branch sticking out from the tree (no pun intended) and i decided to try to get my photo in one shot hence this weeks extra credit ...

A real show stopper!  SSOO cute! Ipersonally, i would have cropped in a bit (but not too much). GREAT details and textures.

You're LRS is very cute. I really like how you centered him. It really works here. I think it is because of the angle of the squirrel; that dead-on front angle calls for centering. I don't like the dark tree on the left side. I'm not sure if this could be fixed in post, but I'd certainly have tried. Isn't there a way of replacing a specific color in the image with a different color? I wonder if this color is unique enough to do that . The red and greens play nicely off of each other. There's enough of the green in the background that helps draw attention to his red features. I really like the way the tree on the right edge stops our gaze and the branch that protrudes in this area then brings our eye back to the LRS. His perch is beautiful. Lots of details on that stump. This is a great one-shot shoot.

You should be proud of that shot - it's as if he posed for you! Great focus and composition.
