    Your bold, simple image works so well, both graphically and also in terms of the concept. I like the contrast and the texture in the exposure. Before reading your note, I thought the gravel was maybe fresh asphalt. The story behind it is indeed heartbreaking. My cousin is at the beginning of a journey that I fear is on the same path as your friend. Keep making good work, from the heart.
