“ Sickle Moon ”

The sickle moon is a sign of fertility, related to life and death, and thus a popular symbol in many religions. It pinpoints changing seasons, ebb and tide and the feminine menstrual cycle....Who knew?

Excellent moon shot!! I haven't quite figured out how to get the texture of the moons surface in my images so sharp. Well done!!
